What is a corporate copywriter?

A corporate copywriter is a professional writer who produces clear and compelling business to business (B2B) marketing and sales materials. This includes the words for websites, articles, reports, newsletters and brochures.

Corporate copywriters specialise in transforming complex information into plain English so that your audience (readers) find your message easy to understand.

What is a tender writer or a proposal writer?

When you have a tender or a proposal to write, they often take over your life!

Working with a professional and experienced tender writer means you will not have to do any of the writing (unless you prefer to do the first draft).

A corporate tender writer will work with you to determine your key messages and the content your tender response needs. Then, the tender writer will write your tender response for you, focusing on how your prospective client will benefit from your services and expertise.

Retaining a professional tender writer will save you time, and a lot of stress.

What is an editor?

An editor reviews your first draft or your existing marketing and sales materials, including brochures, sales letters and annual reports, to improve readability, punctuation and grammar. The editor keeps your target audience and company brand in mind to ensure best results.

What is a proofreader?

A proofreader provides peace of mind by reviewing your marketing materials to check for typographical errors, inconsistencies and mistakes. By paying expert attention to detail, proofreaders safeguard against potentially costly and embarrassing mistakes.

Why should I outsource my copywriting?

Just as you’re an expert in your field, a copywriter writes for a living and can quickly and effectively create the words you need to sell yourself, your product or your service.

By hiring an expert corporate copywriter to take care of your corporate copywriting needs, the work will be completed faster than doing it yourself. It also means you are not adding to your or a colleague’s existing workload.

Why should I outsource my tender writing?

When you work with an experienced tender writer, you will achieve a much better quality tender submission. Professional tender writers know exactly how to manage the tender process, and how to present your business in the best possible way.

Plus, working with an experienced tender writer will make the tender submission process much less stressful for you. And it will save you time so that you can concentrate on other tasks.

For help with your tender or proposal, call us now on (02) 9314 7506 or 0411 123 216.

How does the copywriting process work?

First, get in touch with us by phone or email. We'll have a chat with you about your copywriting needs.

Following this, we will provide you with a proposal outlining our fee and confirming the milestones to complete this work.

Once your initial retainer payment has been received, we'll provide you with a first draft for your review. Our copywriter will then make your requested edits to the draft copy and supply the final draft for your approval.

When you are completely happy, we'll send you our final invoice, which is due within 14 days.

How does the tender writing process work?

First, get in touch by phone or email. We'll have a chat with you about your tender writing needs and how we can help.

So that we can come up to speed with your business, we like to meet with you. If you are in Sydney, we will come to your office. Or, if you are interstate, we will be happy to speak via teleconference. Either way, we’ll ask you lots of questions, and we’ll need to see the Request for Tender or Request for Proposal, as well as copies of your previous tenders or proposals.

We’ll prepare a timeframe for the tender response process, so that everyone stays on track. And once your retainer payment has been received, we will write the first draft for you, unless you want to do it yourself. Sometimes our clients prefer this, and we edit and proofread their draft for them. But mostly we prepare the first draft.

With tenders, we usually go through a number of drafts. So, once you have given us your changes and any additional information we need, we edit and proofread the final draft of your tender or proposal to make sure your business shines.

When you have submitted your tender, we will send you our final invoice.

Call us on (02) 9314 7506 or 0411 123 216.

How much does copywriting cost?

The cost of copywriting varies depending on your needs. For example, for projects other than tenders - such as copywriting, proofreading or editing brochures, articles or web copy - we will give you a quote.

For tenders, we work on an hourly rate.

To find out how much your copywriting needs will cost, please contact us via phone or email.

How much notice do you need to complete my project?

With our experience, we work quickly so our clients rarely have to wait more than a few days for their finished projects. We always aim to turn projects around within a week of our client’s go-ahead.

But of course, it’s best to give us as much notice as you can – especially if it’s a big job.

For a tender, we work with you up right up to the deadline.

Are you a Sydney copywriter only?

With the wonders of technology, Proof Communications works with B2B services and professional services businesses right across the country, from Sydney to Perth to Albury.

As we are not a pure Sydney copywriting business, your business can benefit from our expertise and skills, wherever you may be.

So, if you need a tender writer or a proposal writer, or B2B copywriter in Sydney or not, get in touch. We would love to find out more about your copywriting, editing or proofreading needs.

"What impressed me most about working with Rosemary was the time she took at the beginning of the assignment to get to know me and my business. The result is two pieces of work for which I have already received some very complimentary feedback. I plan to be working with Rosemary again very soon."
